The F8x M3/M4 painted key hole cover is the perfect addition for those looking for that clean European look. The fit is identical to factory as the core parts are factory-original pieces, built by BMW. By painting these OEM parts at IND s own in-house paint facility, IND has ensured a nearly perfect paint match every time. Every member of their paint staff has at minimum 10 years of experience at their in-house 10,000 square foot facility. IND offers almost all factory BMW colors, including BMW Individual.

The painted key hole cover is designed as a replacement insert for the original factory surround and lock cylinder. If your vehicle does not have an accessible lock cylinder on the trunk and you wish to gain access to the battery in the event of a power loss, we recommend installing the key hole cover on the original lock cylinder. By installing the cover on top of the lock cylinder it provides an emergency access point in the event the battery is drained.
